The PhD English Literature program is a rigorous full-time program designed to cultivate research expertise in doctoral candidates. The program prioritizes honing research skills to produce high-level scholarship and literary criticism. Program Objective:
The key aims and objectives of the PhD English programme are to:
- Equip the scholars with the theoretical and practical knowledge of research and advanced concepts in their chosen field to enable them to become experts in the selected areas.
- Enable the scholars to pursue independent research in their fields.
- Enable the scholars to supervise research work in their areas.
Criteria:
- MS/MPhil degree in English (Linguistics/Literature) with a minimum 3.0/4.0 CGPA.
- NTS GAT Subject, ETC HAT & GRE or University Entry Test (with a minimum 70% cumulative score)
