Islamic Studies

Program Semester Scheme & Eligibility Criteria is given below:

The M.Phil in Islamic Studies program provides advanced knowledge of Qur’an, Hadith, and classical Islamic sciences alongside modern social sciences. It aims to train scholars who can critically analyze contemporary issues in the light of Islamic teachings and present Islam’s guidance effectively in diverse fields of life.

 

About Program:

 

Students in this program study Quranic and Hadith sciences while engaging with disciplines such as economics, sociology, philosophy, and political science. Guided by qualified faculty, they develop research skills, leadership abilities, and academic insight to address modern challenges through Islamic perspectives.

The M.Phil in Islamic Studies program at AlHamd Islamic University, Islamabad prepares graduates for careers in research, teaching, legislation, and community leadership. It emphasizes tolerance, unity, ethical values, and intellectual growth, equipping students to promote moderation and brotherhood within the Muslim Ummah.

Criteria:
  • 16 years of education (BS/MA) in a relevant field from an HEC-recognized institution with at least 2.5/4.0 CGPA (semester system) or 2nd division (annual system).
  • NTS GAT General or University Entry Test (with a minimum 60% cumulative score)
