Educational Beliefs

Education should cater the growth of man in all aspects: spiritual, intellectual, imaginative, physical, scientific, linguistic, both individually and collectively and motivate these aspects towards goodness and attainment of perfection. The ultimate aim is realization of individual’s complete harmony with the will of Allah at the personal, communal and human level.

Education, by precept and example, should instill piety and encourage self-purification and self-discipline as a mean of penetrating into the mysteries of the universe and opening the heart to the fear and love of Allah.

Education should promote in man the creative impulse to rule himself as well as the universe as a true servant of Allah, not by opposing and indulging into conflict with nature but, by understanding its laws and harness its forces for the growth of a personality that is in harmony with it.

Point to Ponder

Western thought today is in the midst of a raging battle between religion and science. It is almost impossible for a western thinker today to accept the fact that there may be a meeting ground between religion and science. Therefore, if you discuss the issue of religion and science with a westerner, he readily goes into sheer wonderment. They do not know Islam. They do not know that Islam accords a very high status to knowledge and men of knowledge, regarding them as witnesses, after the angels, to the fact that there is no god worthy of worship in truth but Allah, as Allah Himself has told us in Al Quran:

Do they not consider the Quran? Had it been from any other than God, they would surely have found therein much inconsistency. Al-Quran Surah Nisaa ayah 82

Do they not carefully consider (investigate) the Quran or are there locks upon their hearts. Al-Quran Surah Muhammed ayat 24

A scientific approach has been encouraged in the Al-Quran with the objective of ascertaining its truthfulness. It provides man with a chance to verify it authenticity.

President's Message

Clear vision and perception of right direction are the foremost factors that point to a path ultimately leading to the destination. PresBeing Muslims we believe that the treasure of knowledge and wisdom shall always belong to us unless we ignore our own brilliant past and least bother to recall who we really are. It owes to scarce awareness of Muslims about their own selves that since last few centuries Bu Ali Sina, Jabir Bin Hayyan, Ibn-ul-Haitham, Umar Khayyam, Al-Khwarizmi are seldom born in this unfortunate Ummah. It’s startling to many that whatever branches of science exist today; are based on research initially carried out by the same elite group of Muslim scientists. Common wisdom holds curiosity as to how they achieved such remarkable success. The only answer is: “They were loyal to Allah Almighty, and used Al Qur’an as the basic frame of reference for their research and studies. It is sad that later generations kept themselves away from the areas explored by our ancestors, whereas the western intellect took charge of the heritage given up by Muslims making it a base for further development that eventually lead them to the throne of dominance.
