Success is an outcome of consistent effort towards right direction. Clear vision gives the right path which leads to destination. Knowledge and wisdom was the heritage of Muslims. Great Muslim Scientists by exploring basic sciences, gave almost all sciences the present shape, because they were loyal to Allah and they used AL Quran as the basic frame of reference for their Research and studies. Alas! We did not further explore the fields discovered by our ancestors, whereas western world used the research of Muslims as a foundation and are ruling the world. After renaissance of Europe deliberate efforts were made to separate Islamic education from contemporary and as a consequence we have no destination, leaders become followers with the intentions that one day we can overtake them, fake it seams without the sense of irony.

We have on the one hand a great deal of wishful thinking about what is to be accomplished through Islamic & modern education and why, but regrettably very little practical guidance is available about the how. There is a world of difference between off-the-cuff impulsive ideas that are highly inspirational just for the moment, versus the accurate findings of research which can be applied and sustained in a systematic way in educational setups.

What had happen, was the past, it is time to come up with dedicated and consistent effort to develop and implement such educational system which will cater the needs of current era, keeping in view our Islamic values, and provide a platform for research and development under the shadow of Qur’an and Sunnah.

I thank Almighty Allah for giving us the strength, wisdom and foresight to conceive the idea of Al-Hamd Islamic University to accomplish the noble cause. It is indeed the first Islamic university in private sector in Pakistan that has given top priority to the Islamic research and committed to produce scholars and skilled professionals in the field of Islam, Science, Arts and Technology.

I wish and pray to Allah to give us strength and enable us to achieve the goals by providing precious opportunities to our nation and country through the platform of Al Hamd Islamic University (Ameen).
